Library Science standards
The following are an adaptation of the American Association of School Librarian Standards for Learners, 2017

I attempted to make the language of the AASL more kid friendly, without losing meaning.
INQUIRE: I will build new knowledge by inquiring, thinking critically, identifying problems, and developing strategies for solving problems.

- I will ask questions on school topics or on my own interests
- I will add to what I already know on a subject
- I will use evidence to investigate questions
- I will follow a plan to fill in the gaps in my knowledge (like the Big Six)
- I will create a product or presentation to show what I learned
- I will interact with work that others present
- I will make suggestions to help others improve their work
- I will act on helpful comments from others to improve my work
- I will share my learning with people in the real world
- Continue to ask questions and look for answers
